(More customer reviews)My husband loves his new Margarator Margarita Machine. We all enjoyed testing it. The drinks were delicious. It makes a large batch and keeps them icy fresh. One of my friends commented "Isn't that just a glorified blender?" I could explain that it not only made a larger batch, the spigot made it very handy to serve, and it was insulated so it kept the drinks cold and icy. We have enjoyed several different kinds of drinks. It did take trial and error to figure out that if it had sat for a while after mixing, we needed to turn it back on and let it run before serving ourselves for the perfect drink.

I usually mix these bad boys with a blender full of ice, alil cranberry maybe and a flavored vodka.(I call them "sloshed puppies") They add great flavor and bring you back to the days of drinking slush puppies and slurpies only this time there's booze involved. I highly recommend them in all flavors.-HOWEVER the shipping usually takes a while when its super saver shipping so order far ahead of any parties you may be throwing.

(More customer reviews)All the other reviews either seemed as if they were a plant or were complaining that the other reviews were plants. So, here is a review that is neither of those.
I bought this product despite all those other reviews. I love it. My daughter loves it. It is easy to use... just drop the ice in the top and hold the lid down. It makes snow-like ice that absorbs the syrups. It doesn't make an "ice chunk and syrup soup" like many other snow cone machines do. It's not exactly "$8 amusement park snow cone" quality, but I'd certainly say it is "$5 county fair snow cone" quality.
I am VERY happy with this product and do recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Just got this yesterday. Took their advice and used the supplied molds and not just plain ice cubes (will try that later). Made one helping of frozen milk and two of plain ice. This morning, I put the block of milk in the hopper and cranked out some BEAUTIFUL shaved (not crushed, not flaked, but beautifully shaved) ice milk. Topped it with some chocolate syrup and just enjoyed the heck out of it. I'm not sure why the other reviewer found it so hard to crank the unit. I'm 61 with mild arthritis in both hands and didn't have any problem. I don't know how much hard use this beauty will take but I figure for $18 I can afford to buy a new one every summer.

The consistency of the drinks that this machine makes is like a frozen coke consistency and the machine works very quickly and easily. The machine is also very easy to clean after use. I am able to get three full batches of drinks from one batch of ice from my refrigerator's automatic ice maker. The automatic feature shaves ice and blends perfectly. This is the third "smoothie" type machine that I have had and the only one that works like it is supposed to. The battery charges well and so far I have made 15 batches of drinks without a recharge.
This will definitely be nice on hot summer nights on the deck!
