I have replaced the stem three times in ten years or so. I have replaced the bowl once, and one of the blades has broken twice. The motor has held up fine despite all the parts breaking along the way. I have given up paying premium prices to replace parts. I am looking for an alternative which will offer me as large a bowl as this.

I made one sandwich - it was overcooked on one side and not cooked at all on the other. The only good thing about it is that I bought it from Walmart - so hopefully returning it shouldn't be a problem. Just hate to send this to another hapless consumer of cheap Chinese trash. Really, the correct place to send this is back to China.

(More customer reviews)This is my third KitchenAid - not because they have worn out, but because I donate my old ones to my children who can't afford one right now. I wouldn't use any other brand than KitchenAid especially for a mixer. I just used the bread dough hook this week to make cinnamon rolls and it worked marvelous - the rolls came out light and tender and delicious. I'm 71 years old and KitchenAid Mixers are fairly heavy, but I have mine stored close to the counter so I don't have to lift it very far. My mother gave me hers when I was first starting house and I have had one every since. This model is great if you are a heavy baker. Some models are more for just cakes mixes and mashing potatoes, but this one will do it all!

(More customer reviews)This little pot boils a large amount (2 litres) of water in just a couple of minutes. The cordless base makes it so much safer and easier to pour when it's ready, the twist open lid helps you to avoid dumping the whole pot on yourself and I like the auto shut off so there is no chance of boiling it dry or starting a fire. The only small criticism I have is that the twist open lid seems a bit cheezy - like it might not last as long as the rest of the pot does. I will update my review if that turns out to be the case. Also, you should be aware that the heating element is exposed in the bottom of the pot so don't get this one if you expect to boil anything other than water as you will coat the element with it. Otherwise this pot is exactly what I wanted/expected.

After the last one started leaking and the motor finally stopped, I went to our local Kohl's and bought a cheap Bella version on sale. Well, that was a piece of junk. (More customer reviews)I received this food processor a few weeks ago and am so pleased! I previously had the Kitchenaid professional 11 cup model and this one is sooo much better! It's amazing what increasing the size by just one cup does! I had this chocolate tofu pie recipe that never quite got blended in my old processer because it was too thick and heavy, but it blends to the smoothest consistency in this one. I no longer have to break it up into batches! Plus, the extra large feed tube is a definate improvement over the older smaller versions.And this one doesn't jump around on my countertop like my older one did a bit. This one just seems REALLY solidly built. Don't get me wrong, Kitchenaids older versions were also the best for their time, this one is just even better!
The design of this model is also very sleek and I'm no longer emberassed having my processor on my countertop.
Please note, this brushed nickel model also comes with an egg wisk, a citrus juicer attachment and an extra work bowl, which don't come with the other models. I noticed this wasn't mentioned in Amazon's description but it should be. That alone justifies the slightly higher price, in addtition to the beautiful stainless finish and larger feed tube.

(More customer reviews)I have owned this chopper for 5 years now....threw out the stupid Cuisinart Food Processor. This gizmo chops nuts FAST! Onions...tomaotes...everything. The key is to keep the blade sharp. I am having a heck of a time finding replacement blades though. The only place I have found them is the big flea market in Yuma, Az. In fact, bought my first chopper there years ago. DO NOT BUY THE MODEL that has 2 blades...or even the one with the straight blades. The curved tripple blades make ALL the difference. I have chopped/sliced some veggies with this and used it to squeeze juice, but it's primary use is chopping. I do a killer "chopped salad" and "fresh salsa" with my home grown tomatoes. You can't beat this item...especially for the bucks. I have arthritis pretty bad, but can still use this chopper effectively.
I have one at home and one in the RV...just can't be without it.

(More customer reviews)Let me first start by saying I am a huge fan of Mason Cash products. So when I went to buy this batter bowl, I was expecting the best. However, the quality of the ceramic was thin and the inside was not what I expected. It feels more like a pot for a plant rather than a batter bowl. The inside is recessed from the pattern on the outside...if that makes sense. Moreover, there were bits of black specs fired into the bottom inside of the ceramic. Looks pretty dirty rather than just typical imperfections. I will probably just use it for decoration instead of mixing anything in it. Highly disappointed, I hope they will change there design in the future.

(More customer reviews)If you had two rocks and one of them was sorta flat, you could put a piece of fruit on one of the rocks, smash the rocks together, and extract juice. You could also put a bucket on the ground upside down, put the fruit on it and hit it with your forehead. Another way you could get juice out of a grapefruit is to take it the the gym and drop barbells on it while making angry juicing noises.
All of these methods would be better than this piece of metallic evil finger slicing death machine.
Don't bother. Use a knife and a reamer or your friggin' hands. This thing doesn't work well at all and you can only extract about half the juice out of a piece of citrus you could with any more traditional method.
