(More customer reviews)Acme was the standard for juicers when we purchased ours 15 years ago. It still does everything -- soft, hard, and green leafy vegetables, fruits, and root vegetables. The pulp from carrot and celery make the base for a great "un-chicken" salad.
The citrus attachment is a worthwhile accesssory for orange and grapefruit juices. It is rock-solid and has never needed any part repaired or replaced.
On the down side, it is heavy, bulky, a bit noisy. The newer juicers appear more ergonomic and boast more features, but I'm not sure if they can lay claim to the durablility of the Acme.
