I'm a beginner at growing wheatgrass but this kit makes everything extremely simple with its step-by-step instructions. I was also surprised to find the instructions laminated which is a huge plus when your hands are wet from watering the grass or dirty from the azomite (organic fertilizer). The kit will yield very similar results to the picture you see.

I had developed skin cancer and started using this juicer to juice 2 quarts of carrot and apple juice and 1 quart of leafy green vegetable juice, which I drink 8 oz. glasses of spread throughout the day. The cancer abated. The juicer is fantastic. It is quiet, easy to use and easy to clean. We highly recommend it. Even my children (8 years old and up) can use it safely. We also use it to juice wheatgrass, which almost no other juicer can effectively juice unless it is a wheatgrass juicer only. This machine crushes the food then presses it into a dry pulp squeezing nearly every drop of juice out of almost anything. It's Great! If you need a juicer, this is the one. Nothing else comes close. We only wish it came in a solid stainless steel version.

INCREDIBLE Juice Yield. The pulp is super dry.
(I use to have a Breville Juice Fountain Plus- The pulp from the Breville(Centrifugal Force Juicer) was very wet. Breville would juice Carrots, Cucumbers, Apples, Even Kale pretty well producing 60% Juice and 40% Pulp. But the Breville was unbelievably easy to clean by comparison. After a year of juicing with the Breville, I got my cleanup time to about 3-4 minutes and then stuck it in the dishwasher and it was ready to go the next day)
Angel Juicer- I can not stress this enough, but the pulp was extremely dry. The angel juices spinach + other greens, brocolli, etc. very very well. It is time consuming to juice since the feed chute is smaller than the breville and the juiceman.
I estimate that the angel produces between 75-85% juice of whatever vegetable or fruit you put in. Even though it seems like you get only 15-20% more juice, the quality is far, far, far, superior than the Breville and the Juiceman.
Now for the bad part:
The cleanup for the angel is way longer. Initially, when I first used the angel juicer, it took me 35 mins to clean. Especially if you juice carrots, the pulp gets lodged inside the holes in the screen.
I originally purchased the angel juicer because I figured there are only 3 parts to clean (2 twin gears and 1 screen). The plus side is that the gears are very easy to clean, just pour water on it and the pulp just rinses away.
The screen is a different story altogether. The screen Length is very long which is great for getting a high juice yield but tough to clean. Your hands can not reach all the way inside so you have to use the included brush and then scrub scrub scrub for a very long time.
(However, I have not tried putting it in the dishwasher or used vinegar to clean it because the juicer is expensive and I did not want the juicer to be damaged with high heat from the dishwasher.)
My recommendation: Its an ok Juicer, I am not sure if I will juice everyday if the total time to juice is over 40 minutes (minimum).
For me, I am going back on the hunt to find a juicer that juices greens as well as the angel does but takes half the time to clean. Hope this helps. :-)

(More customer reviews)I am writing this because I had SO much difficulty finding more than a handful of customer reviews online when trying to find a juicer.
My family has been juicing for years now with a popular-brand centrifugal juicer. My stepdad was diagnosed with cancer and we started researching the Gerson Therapy. This juicer is NOT recommended for the Gerson Therapy, but their system is so complicated and expensive we decided to compromise. We went with a twin-gear because it's a much better juicer than a centrifugal but it's not nearly as much trouble as a 2-stage press system.
Anyway, we love it. We estimate we're getting twice as much juice per-veggie than we did with the centrifugal juicer. We juice at least 4 times per week (for 3 people) so we're thinking the price difference will easily be paid in a year just from the savings on produce.
It's also easier to clean than our old one. The hardest part to clean is the mesh screen... it has some tight corners that the pulp really gets jammed into, but after cleaning it a couple times it gets much faster. The rest of the parts are easy.
I haven't experienced any of the design flaws that the other reviewer mentioned. I mention that review specifically because it almost talked me out of getting this juicer, but I'm glad I decided to go ahead anyway. No juice has leaked out in any weird areas. The only part of the safety hood on mine that got dirty was the top tray around the feed chute, which is easily rinsed off. Some pulp gets into the area immediately around where the gears attach, but that can be cleaned with a squeeze of water from the sponge and a quick wipe-off. No juice got out any other areas.

Omega 8005 Juicer - Citrus, Vegetable, Wheatgrass Review

(More customer reviews)If you accept that a masticating juicer gives better quality juice than a centrifical, but you do not want a heavy, awkward machine that takes a long time to set up and longer to clean, then this is a great choice. Omega hit the sweet spot with this product. It is light, relatively small, quiet, and cleans rather quickly (the mesh screen is small and does not seem to hold on to the food), while producing fine juice from a variety of plants. (Impressive on celery and spinach; quite good enough on carrots) The result is a masticating juicer that actually gets used, rather than a (perhaps) theoretically superior juicer that is just too much of a hassle to take out. I have a 31 year-old Champion which I really like; I just never use it except when I am fasting, and sometimes not even then.
One thing should be mentioned. Many single gear juicer ads boast that a slow-turning auger damages the juice less than, say, a Champion because its fast rotation heats the juice and deactivates enzymes and other molecules. Truth is, when I run cold carrots through a Champion, I get cold carrot juice; when I run cold carrots through an Omega 8005, the juice is not warm, but it is definitely not cold. Clearly, if there is less rotation, then the heavy mechanical compression at a certain point produces heat to a greater extent than Champion's rapid rotation does. (I have read one review of another single auger juicer that said its juiced carrots actually came out hot.) Personally, I do not think either type machine actually hurts the juice's chemistry, but Champion should call its single auger competititors on their deceptive claim.
Summary: If you want knock-your-socks off cold carrot juice, get a Champion (although the Omega will still give you a carrot juice high, and, for all I know, its juice will taste just as good if you chill it). If you want bragging rights about the amount of nutrients in your juice, get a Green machine (at almost twice the price, twice the weight, and a long time to clean up). If you want a juicer that probably gives better quality and variety of juices than a centrifical juicer with less noise and no greater cleanup time, get this one. You will actually use it even if you don't have the counter space for it.
