(More customer reviews)when i saw this juseir for 29$ in Amason i was surprized probably no gonna be a good, but i am looking for somthing basic for one-2 cup of juse when i am at work at lunch time it is good to have a cup of apple juce after food. works just fine now. i do grapefruet, lemon, apple, carrots, orange. i am happy with this Hercules. recoment if you looking for small and inexpencieve for basic users. best for 1 person. thank you. Amazon.

(More customer reviews)Ok .. I could have bought a Kitchenaid for a lot more money, that's the brand all my friends who have these recommended.
However, influenced by the price (12 bucks and change) and the reviews of other users, I bought this one. I'm not dissappointed at all! Works great!
So far I've used it to make smoothies and puree soups. In no time at all I had a nice smooth consistency for the smoothies and the soups took only a few minutes. Cleans up much easier than my standard blender, not to mention the time saved transferring things into the blender.
Also, I like that the guard portion surrounding the blade is not metal, I have a few enameled cast iron pieces of cookware that a metal guard would scratch.
You don't always have to pay top dollar to get something that performs well.

(More customer reviews)The first thing you should keep in mind is that it is one of the lowest price juice extractors out there. It's true that it has a small feed chute and that does mean that you have to cut up your veggies and take your time. The negative criticisms about this machine not being good for "continuous feed" and making too much pulp are most likely the result of trying to jam too much into it at one time. It even says in the owner's manual that if you are making carrot juice, put in only one piece at a time and go slowly. I cut my pieces so that the weight of the plunger is usually enough to push them through and I get great results. You just have to take your time and realize that this is a low-cost machine made for fairly light use, and you will enjoy it. Also keep in mind that if you clean it immediately, everything pretty much rinses off except the basket, which usually requires some help from a sponge. If you are in a hurry or plan to be a heavy user, spend more money and get a heavy-duty machine, but I find it to be fine for my occasional home use.
