It arrived swiftly...I ordered on a Sat. evening...received in my hand on tuesday morning. I already knew what a good blender Breville produced as a few of my friends already own them, however since mine was more than half the cost as theirs, again, I was leery with this company Electronica Direct. However, so far, so good. Of course as with any new "toy".....you use it quite a bit in the beginning. I only had one issue....the first time I used it, it leaked from the bottom...not a lot, but enough to notice. I think it may have been because I did not have it tightened well. It is hard to use the tightening and loosening tool that comes with it...feels kinda awkward. Hope to get used to it though as I think it would be harder to use your hand. It did an amazing job crushing a huge block of ice I put in....crushed it in it's entirety in a matter of seconds! When I went to write this review, it said that I was rating a "refurbished" product, even though my sales receipt says that it was a "new" product, and I thought that I was buying something new. That kinda makes me leery as well, but as long as this product continues to perform the way it does, I will consider buying from Electronica Direct again....just wish I knew if product was new or refurbished....it came packaged like a floor model or something....but had the "new" smell.....hmmmmm. Anyway, right now, I am very happy with my purchase! I am only taking away one star and that is only because of the confusion over new or refurbished! Feel that that should have been more clear.
