Norpro Stainless Steel Trumpet Juice Extractor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you had two rocks and one of them was sorta flat, you could put a piece of fruit on one of the rocks, smash the rocks together, and extract juice. You could also put a bucket on the ground upside down, put the fruit on it and hit it with your forehead. Another way you could get juice out of a grapefruit is to take it the the gym and drop barbells on it while making angry juicing noises.
All of these methods would be better than this piece of metallic evil finger slicing death machine.
Don't bother. Use a knife and a reamer or your friggin' hands. This thing doesn't work well at all and you can only extract about half the juice out of a piece of citrus you could with any more traditional method.

Amco 8.75-in. Lemon Squeezer, Yellow Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Turns out this works better than I thought. You put the lemon in cut side face down (towards the holes) and it squeezes the lemon and turns it inside out. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands and wondered if I would have the strenghth. It practically squeezes itself.

Yellow Lemon Squeezer - Metal Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My sister gave me this handy gadget for quickly and easily juicing lemons as a birthday gift. It seemed strange at first, but after I used it the first time, I declared it the greatest invention since the mandoline v-slicer for vegatables! It's so simple - you just cut the lemon in half and squeeze. In seconds, you have a whole cup of juice sans seeds and pulp. I've just learned that it comes in lime and orange sizes as well... I might just have to order that orange juicer for my morning squeeze.

Lemon Lime Press Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great tool to squeeze all the lemon or lime juice for water or whatever you need the juice for. It's heavy duty. When squeezing turn the squeeze slightly to the side so the juice will pour out.

Vasconia Lemon Squeezer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this a couple months ago to use at work (I have a different brand at home that works great) and have used it (or tired to) a couple times a week since. Today, while I was trying to juice a lemon, it broke. I was operating the unit normally, and the top handle couldn't take the pressure, and just broke off, right in my hand.
Other flaws:
1. It doesn't open very far, so you can only put really small lemons or limes in it.
2. The design is flawed - your fingers can get squeezed easily.
3. The construction and material it's made from is too soft, thus the breaking off of the handle in my hand.
I'm going to try to return my broken unit to Amazon, but I would strongly suggest you not waste your money on this one. Get the one that sells for $12 or so - I think it's made by Amco; it's worth the extra money.

Nemco Easy Juicer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought my Nemco juicer in May 2009. I have used it almost every day for 22 months now to squeeze a mix of about a dozen oranges and grapefruits. This machine has performed very well; it's incredibly solid and it has a relatively small footprint on the kitchen countertop. It really is made in the USA and the company has been very responsive first with replacing the strainer which had some unanticipated metal fatigue and second with advising me on how to replace a broken screen (fifty cents at the hardware store did the trick). Before I bought my Nemco juicer I had had a somewhat similar product that was one third less expensive but which only lasted me a very few months before the handle broke in two. And before that I had had any number of smaller throwaway imported products that would simply wear out after a few months. The bottom line (if my experience is any guide) is that if you want to squeeze citrus on a daily basis, the Nemco juicer is the least expensive product to own in the long term despite the higher upfront cost.

European Style Stainless Steel and Chrome Manual Citrus Press Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Overall impression was that it was of fair quality, but unsuited to my needs. I have a lot of grapefruit to juice, and this is not a good tool for that job. The juicing dome, cup and presser cone were too small for all but the smallest grapefruit. Consequently, using this juicer left about 1/3 of the available juice behind. (I measured the volume the juicer squeezed out - then used a small electric juicer to extract the remaining juice. The first squeeze extracted about a cup. The second juicer extracted about half a cup.) Additional pressure did not help the situation because the part of the fruit with the juice was not getting pressed.
The results were much different with oranges. This press extracted virtually all of the available juice from medium-size oranges. Were I only dealing with small citrus, this press would probably have been quite satisfactory for moderate use.
I would characterize this as a satisfactory juicer for medium-sized oranges, lemons and limes for periodic use. It is not suitable for any but the smallest grapefruit, nor do I believe it would hold up under heavy use, but beyond its shortcomings as a grapefruit juicer, it may be all you need.

Norpro Lemon Mate Juicer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I guess from the picture I assumed that the lemon would be contained inside of this gadget--I was wrong. First you cut off one end of the lemon for about a coin sized diameter. You literally screw in the top pour spout(which has a threaded neck) into the top of a lemon. There is a small cup which is just meant for the lemon to rest on. The threaded neck essentially cores out the lemon which allows juice to pool there. So when you look at the picture, think of a whole lemon sitting in between those two pieces.

This is one efficient way to get juice from a lemon. Simply slice off an end of the fruit, screw the Lemon Mate into the lemon, and pour juice as needed. You can close the lid, set the lemon on the base and store the fruit with the Lemon Mate still in it right in the fridge til the next time you need juice.

New Pro Commerical Manual Orange Citrus Juicer Lemon Fruit Juicer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Sturdy enough for everyday use. Only a couple of minor complaints about this great juicer. First is the base could be a bit larger to be more stable. I have to hold the base while squeezing to not tip it towards me. Second, the inverted cone that the half orange sits on wobbles in its holder rather than sitting solidly. Maybe this is a built-in feature and not a defect, but I can't imagine why it would be this way. Nevertheless, it works fine and should last for a long time.

Progressive International Lemon Squeezer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is by far the best lemon/lime squeezer my wife and I have ever used. It is large, but not heavy, which eases and aids the squeezing power of my wife. The enamel coating is both brightly colored and very easy to clean. Our previous metal squeezer had become seriously oxidized and pitted; this squeezer will definitely eliminate that. Stated simply, this is a great product!

(More customer reviews)This was purchased as a gift, so I did not use it myself, but I was extremely impressed when it arrived.
