I wanted something that would be quick and easy for my family to whip up a fresh glass of juice in the morning, and this is does the job. My 4 yr old granddaughter was thrilled to make her own juice, it is that easy. I like that the juice drips down into a pitcher that pops off the base and can be put on the table for breakfast. It puts a lot of pulp in the juice, but we like pulp. If you don't, it is simple enough to pour it through a strainer or colander before you drink it. This little baby takes those citrus fruits right down to the rind, so you have to watch you don't over-juice and make your juice bitter. Quite powerful!
I already have one of the big boys - a Breville juice extractor. Love it! But who wants drag that big heavy thing onto the counter, then peel oranges in the morning just to get a glass of juice? This is quick, easy, and a great bargain as well. You don't need to spend a fortune to get a great product. We have made a full pitcher of juice in a couple of minutes without any slowing down of the motor. There are two sizes of reamers, which is handy. And it fits compactly under my counter.
Just a note if you get one - there is a tiny band of cardboard that secures the motor for shipping. It is on the center post under the place where the reamers fit on. If you don't remove it, the motor won't come on when you push down on the reamer to make juice. I thought the machine was broken when I first tried to use it, and there is no mention of this thing on the instructions. As for the shipping, it came in just a couple of days, which I appreciated.
